Cherrystone held an auction of postal items and various philatelic objects from US and around the world. There were two sessions in this event which started at 10 am and 1 pm accordingly. The philatelists were able to bid online via CherrystoneLIVE. This auction took place on July 11-12.

There were a huge amount of various spotlights from the US and the former colonies. Among them, it's worth mentioning the "Roosevelt Album", as well as Crash & Disaster mail collection formed by the late Zvi Alone. The latter was a great contributor to the American Air Mail.

Here are some interesting lots that were presented at the collection

unique 78 "Atlanta" collection of three-colored plate proofsA unique 78 "Atlanta" collection of three-colored plate proofs of Benjamin Franklin and Post Horse and Rider and many other ranging from 1c to 90c, is available for acquisition. Initially, these exquisite proofs were produced for the exhibition at the International Cotton Exposition in Atlanta.

Each proof boasts rich and vivid colors with sizable margins. The majority of this set is in excellent condition. However, one of the 3c proofs appears slightly cut at the bottom. As a full set, these proofs are incredibly rare. The catalog value is estimated at $21,400.

The stamps exhibit fresh and vibrant colors, with no hinge marks and images located well in the center. This block of stamps has been expertly assessed, and a 1989 PFC is included.

The catalog value of this exceptional block of stamps is estimated at $37,500. However, it's important to note that catalog values are not necessarily the same as market values and may change over time.
