France continues to expand its philatelic catalog with new stamp releases covering a variety of themes. Recent issues highlight cultural heritage, historical anniversaries, and notable personalities. Juliette Gréco stamp (Release: February 10, 2025)

La Poste is going to issue a stamp honoring Lucie Randoin, commemorating the 140th anniversary of her birth. Born on May 11, 1888, in Bœurs-en-Othe, Randoin was a pioneering French biologist and nutritionist. She was among the first women to teach at the Faculty of Medicine in Paris and became the second female member of the French Academy of Medicine in 1946. Her research significantly advanced the understanding of vitamins and their role in metabolism. The stamp features a portrait of Randoin, recognizing her contributions to science and her role in promoting nutrition and public health.

Les Félins / Cat family stamp series (Release: February 24, 2025)

La Poste prepared a souvenir sheet titled “Félins,” featuring four stamps that showcase the lynx, cheetah, tiger, and black panther. Each stamp is designed with intricate detail to highlight the unique characteristics of these majestic big cats. The sheet measures 110x160 mm and includes stamps with mixed shapes and a perforation gauge of 13. A total of 350,000 copies will be released, with each sheet providing sufficient postage for four standard green letters weighing up to 20 grams within metropolitan France, Monaco, Andorra, military postal sectors, and overseas territories. Collectors can purchase this issue at select post offices, the “Le Carré d’Encre” boutique, the Musée de La Poste in Paris, and through La Poste’s online platform
