PHLPost introduced a special St. Valentine’s Day stamp that shows a man and woman sitting apart but tied by various mediums and manifestations that make people who are in love closer to each other. Filipinos got used to long-distance relationships, as many citizens of this country decide to work abroad for helping their families with the financial issues.

Nowadays, we live in the era of technological progress that is why people have adapted for remote communication. So according to the Philippines Post, this item conveys the following message: “This stamp expresses that no matter the channel, the mode of transmission, in spite of the distance or length of the time, the love we send travels with no restrictions, to where it is meant to be”.

St. Valentine’s Day is one of the most popular holidays for the Filipinos who go on dates with significant others on this day.
