Dr. Haikel, a dedicated historian, spent years curating this collection. His passion is evident in the meticulous organization of each piece. His collection of US stamps includes unique items related to significant global events. Dr. Haikel’s vision is to inspire future generations to appreciate and learn from the past. At the upcoming auction there will be 143 lots. Most of them are true and indisputable rarities, deserving attention. Here are the ones we've found the most interesting.

Benjamin Franklin, 5c, dark brown USA stamp
Benjamin Franklin, 5c, dark brown stamp. A remarkable horizontal pair. Deep color, rich shade, extremely fine. It's important to note that 5c 1847 multiples with original gum are quite scarce, particularly those showcasing a clear early impression from the first printing run. It was acquired by Dr. Haikel during the 1993 Christie's Robson Lowe auction of Ishikawa's collection. The accompanying certificate from P.F. dated 1993 authenticates its quality. Purchase Exposition, Thomas Jefferson, 2c, carmine stamp. A rare block of four stamps. Original gum and is lightly hinged, exhibiting brilliant color and typical centering for this type of error, classified as FINE. This block of four is one of only a few available to collectors, as only one pane of 50 was discovered. Comes with certificates from P.S.E. (1992) and P.F. (1998). Estimated price: 35,000 USD
