On 8 November An Post issued three stamps to celebrate Christmas 2007. This year's stamps were illustrated in acrylics with typography and layout by Steve Simpson. The three stamps feature traditional images associated with Christmas and depict the Adoration of the Shepherds (55c self-adhesive), the Presentation in the Temple (55c gummed) and the Visit of the Magi (78c gummed).

The 65 cent stamp shows the birth of Christ depicted on an icon from the Church of St. Barbara in Vienna's 1st District.
