Apex’s January Postal Auction 137

London – Postal Auction 137 closes on Thursday 22nd January 2015 with 6,750 lots going under the hammer.

A strong GB section contains over 50 1d blacks, including several multiples, lot 119 being a fine used block of 4, Est. £2750.

Fine 1d reds and surface printed follow, with lot 304, a fine mint example of the 1870 1 1/2d rosy mauve, Est. £1800 and lot 327, the scarce 1855 6d Plate Proof with trial cancel, Est. £2000.
