Feel the spirit of a merry Canadian menagerie with a new festive stamp issue!

October 13th, 2015

Many Canadians and all people from around the world anticipate this year's Christmas holiday.

FindYourStampsValue.com invites our readers to share the festive spirit of a merry Canadian menagerie with new souvenir sheet featuring all three stamps in this year's Christmas Animals series.

Animals have often been featured on Canadian Christmas stamps, but never quite like this. In portrait-style illustrations, the trio appears in a whimsical holiday wardrobe. A majestic bull moose wearing a red scarf and toque graces the permanent domestic stamp.

On the U.S.-rate stamp, a grinning beaver in a flannel shirt and flat cap playfully sports a sprig of holly in his mouth. On the international-rate stamp, a polar bear braces for the cold with a stylish red cap, scarf and sweater. A clothing detail extends beyond the frame of each stamp, adding a three-dimensional touch.

The Christmas Animals stamps are designed by Paprika and illustrated by Gérard DuBois.
