Grace Kelly has been cited as one of the most elegant and influential iconic film stars in American cinematic history. Her relatively short career of seven years occurred between 1950 and 1956, during which she appeared in just eleven films. To commemorate this great actress Monaco Post has prepared for releasing two special stamps dedicated to the most famous films in which Grace Kelly stared. is glad to tell about this outstanding personality, an actress and Monaco Princess,  with this philatelic release and to give you a brief outline of two most famous films in which Grace Kelly revealed her talent.

The first stamp: the 1954 American thriller Rear Window is considered to be one of Alfred Hitchcock’s best films. The plunge into obsession and voyeurism is gripping, and Grace Kelly gives one of her best performances.

The second stamp: The Bridges at Toko-Ri, an American film directed by Mark Robson in 1954, recounts the events of the Korean War. It was highly successful when it was released, winning the Oscar for Best Special Effects. Grace Kelly plays the wife of an American army lieutenant.
