No stamp? No problem, Hallmark says
Hallmark Cards and the U.S. Postal Service on Thursday introduced Postage Paid Greetings - a line of greeting cards that already include postage.
The cards have a postal service bar code on their envelopes that, when scanned at the post office, indicate that postage is paid.
The value of the postage, like the "forever" stamp, is equal to the price of a first-class stamp, whenever it's mailed.
The postage bar codes are on more than 200 card varieties that will be sold in Hallmark Gold Crown stores, Wal-Mart, Walgreens, CVS and other Hallmark distribution locations.
The postage-paid cards will be sold for prices ranging from $2.69 to $3.99.
