Paying tribute to Grace Kelly movies – new stamp issue by Monaco Post is glad to inform that Monaco Post is ready to introduce two stamps from the series "Grace Kelly movies". The items are dedicated to two films such as "To catch a thief" and "The swan". The issue has been already designed and will be released on the 14th of January.

In the American film The Swan, directed by Charles Vidor, Grace Kelly's natural elegance is a wonder to behold as she portrays a princess torn between a marriage of convenience to a prince (played by Alec Guinness) and her passion for a handsome commoner (Louis Jourdan). MGM, the company which produced the film, arranged for it to be released on the same day as Grace Kelly's civil marriage to Prince Rainier of Monaco, 18th April 1956.

Alfred Hitchcock's film To Catch a Thief, released in 1955, tells the tale of a former jewel thief who is living it up in retirement on the Côte d'Azur. A series of burglaries bearing his imprint force him to investigate to identify the true culprit. Grace Kelly lights up the film from start to finish, while Cary Grant, perfect as gentleman thief John Robie, serves up an exquisite blend of humour and class.
