The Stolen Princess Animated Film will get its stamps. Two bright cartoon stamps are to be released by Ukrposhta
There is some excitement in philatelic society as Ukrposhta has prepared for release the new issue of two art stamps dedicated to The Stolen Princess animated film. The stamps are being issued in cooperation with Animagrad. The premiere of The Stolen Princess took place in Ukraine on 7th of March, 2018. Immediately afterward, the film is set to open theatrically in more than 30 markets, including China, South Korea, Vietnam, Poland, Bulgaria, and others.
One of the two stamps printed on adhesive letter portrays the main characters against the background of ancient Kyiv: princess Mila, her father Kyiv king Volodymyr and her loved one wandering actor Ruslan. The other stamp features Hamster Vinnytsky who arouses the warmest feelings among children and adults alike.
The Stolen Princess is the first animated feature film for Ukrainian and international release in the production line of the Animagrad studio. This is a romantic story that happened in the age of valiant knights. The main characters are Ruslan, a wandering artist dreaming to become a knight, and beautiful Mila who was the Knight`s daughter, Ruslan fell in love with Mila, but their happiness wasn’t meant to last too long… The film was produced by Egor Olesov and directed by Oleg Malamuzh.
The Stolen Princess became the winner of the 9th competitive selection of Ukrainian State Film Agency; the sum of state financing amounts to about 20 percent of the film’s total budget of 95 million UAH.
