Ukrainian soldiers were honored by Ukrposhta with a new philatelic issue


According to info got by Ukrposhta has released a special commemorative stamp paying tribute to Ukrainian army and to the heroes of War in Eastern Ukraine. The stamp depicts the image of Ukrainian soldier. The item has been already released and is now available for purchasing.

The ceremony of stamp issuance was attended by Roman Stasov, head of courier postal service of the Main Department of Communication and Information Systems of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Colonel Andrew Kovalok and stamp designer Vladimir Taran.

"Philatelic products from Ukrposhta traditionally reflect the significant events of our country. In this difficult time stamp with the image of the Ukrainian soldier is more relevant than ever for our society." ‒ stated Roman Stasov.

"On this occasion, I would like to thank Ukrposhta for fruitful cooperation and for supporting fighters in Donbas", ‒ said Andrey Kovalok.

"At the forefront all the guys want only one thing ‒ to defeat the enemy and return home alive. For each soldier is very important to know that he is not forgotten. Therefore, I would like to thank Ukrpochta for this stamp. Glory to Ukraine!" ‒ said the representative of the Ministry of Defense.
