Dr. Derichs philately auction house is holding a live auction on April 29th, 2023. Most of the lots are related to the Old German states. 

The participants can join in real-time Internet bidding, or in automated online auctions led by virtual auctioneer. Registration is required.

Here are some interesting lots that will be presented on the auction

German state Württemberg: Coat of Arms stampsThis cover is made up of five stamps that include a horizontal strip of three German state Württemberg, Coat of Arms, 18 kreuzer blue stamps, as well as a 6 kreuzer green Coat of Arms stamp and a 9 kreuzer carmine Coat of Arms stamp. All of the stamps have been cut with full to huge margins and are in perfect condition, with only minor defects in the stationery that have been repaired. 

The stamps have received two ring cancellations that read "Stuttgart 6 July 1860". The cover was used to send the stamps to London, Great Britain via France and has three different red postmarks on the front. Starting price 10,000 EUR

German state Württemberg: Numeral Value stampIn Crailsheim (a city in Germany), a rare and valuable blue mill wheel three ring postmark was used to cancel a German state Württemberg, Numeral Value, 3 kreuzer black on yellow postage stamp (Scott catalogue number 5), which was expertly placed on the envelope.

The cover features a clear two-line postmark in brown-blue ink, indicating that it was sent on November 19th, 1851 from Crailsheim to Dinkelsbühl (another city in Germany). Although it cannot be proven beyond a doubt, it is likely that the stamp also belongs to this letter. Overall, the cover is well-preserved and free of any noticeable flaws. Starting price 10,000 EUR

Franked telegram, bearing German state Württemberg, Coat of Arms stampFranked telegram, bearing German state Württemberg, Coat of Arms, 1 kreuzer brown stamp, left issue typical cut, otherwise perfect, as a single franking on preprinted telegram cover with three circle cancel "Heilbronn 7 Mart. 1859" on the stamp and once again additional to Weinsberg (reverse two line cancel thence from Sequence day). Starting price 7,500 EUR
