The 1894 registered cover from Shanghai to Germany with datestamp April 22, 1897 will be auctioned in December with an estimate between £130,000 – £215,000. The cover has a combination of the 1894 Empress Dowager and 1897 Red Revenue stamps with provisional surcharges. They are cancelled by the Shanghai Pa-Kua obliterator in black.
