Post of Serbia has realized, for the first time in history, a joint philately issue with the Post of Russia, with a title "Art - icon". This special issue was presented in Moscow, at the Museum of ancient Russian culture and art "Andrej Rubljov", with the high officials.
The issue consists of two postage stamps that depict best works of art - Serbian icon Bogorodice Odigitrije (14th century - belongs to the National museum in Belgrade) and Russian icon of the Archangel Michael (15th century - belongs to State Tretjakov gallery in Moscow), painted by the famous Andrej Rubljov.
