Children's World – four new stamps introduced by Croatia Post

Croatia Post has introduced its next stamp issue from the series “Children’s World”. These stamps are devoted to pets that captivate children of all ages and nationalities. This time Croatia’s bright philatelic issue is devoted to dogs. The stamps features such dog breeds as St Bernard, Pug, Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Siberian Husky. Croatia’s set of four cute stamps was designed by Nataša Odak, designer from Zagreb. Let’s take a closer look at this issue and at other stamps on pets theme.

The first stamp features a cute image of King Charles Cavalier that is an eager, affectionate and happy dog. This breed of dogs combines the gentle attentiveness of a toy breed with the verve and athleticism of a sporting spaniel. The second stamp shows the pug. This is a breed of dog with physically distinctive features of a wrinkly, short-muzzled face, and curled tail. Wherever he goes, his wrinkly face and fun-loving personality charm people.

The third stamp depicts Siberian Husky that is a beautiful dog breed with a thick coat that comes in a multitude of colors and markings. Their blue or multi-colored eyes and striking facial masks only add to the appeal of this breed, which originated in Siberia. And the fourth item shows the image of St. Bernard that is a breed of very large working dog from the western Alps in Italy and Switzerland. The breed has become famous through tales of alpine rescues, as well as for its enormous size.
