Philately has always been a symbol of technical innovation, from unique shapes and scented inks to augmented reality. By diversifying into this new collectible market, La Poste once again demonstrates its ability to innovate and reach a new type of collector. The #NFTimbre1, launched on September 18, 2023, was the first French stamp available in both “physical” and “digital” formats, leveraging Blockchain technology to make each stamp entirely unique and introduce a new way to collect.

A key innovation by La Poste lies in the simultaneous activation of the NFT when the physical stamp block is delivered to the customer. All purchased stamps come with this certificate, granting access to an animated digital version of the block, exclusively available to its owners. The NFT provides a unique identification for each stamp, simplifying authentication and enhancing the collecting experience.

8. Pierre Dac stamp (Release: February 7, 2025)

A French humorist and actor, he was also a prominent figure in the Resistance during World War II, known for his impactful broadcasts on Radio Londres opposing Nazi occupation in France. His sharp wit and courage made him a symbol of hope and defiance for many during the darkest days of the war. Beyond his Resistance work, Pierre Dac became a beloved figure in French culture, celebrated for his satirical humor and creativity.

This commemorative stamp pays tribute to his legacy, ensuring his contributions to humor and history are remembered for generations to come.
