Austria's Lipizzaner stud farm honored with a special stamp!

100 years ago, the Lippizans, the world-famous white horses of the Spanish Riding School, found a home in Piber in western Styria. To mark this important event Austria Post released a stamp featuring the grace and beauty of the Lippizan mare Triesta with her foal Maestoso. A handwritten stud book can be seen in the background.
