To mark the 500th anniversary of the Royal Danish Navy, Post Danmark is issuing five stamps featuring naval vessels.
The stamps feature:
- The carvel Maria
- The frigate Jylland
- The armoured ship Tordenskjold
- The gunnery ship Niels Iuel
- The frigate Iver Huitfeldt
The stamps were designed by Michael Jensen and are produced in a combination of intaglio and offset. The engraver was Martin Morck.
