As usual, the Hungarian Post Office Ltd. is issuing a stamp to mark the most important festival in the Christian calendar, Easter.
The stamp for postcards and letters posted at Easter time this year is a cheerful depiction of the Easter bunny. In folk belief in Hungary, the Easter bunny embodies both the rebirth of spring and the resurrection. The special cover, showing a chick, lamb and bunny, is designed in the same style.
