Nudes in Art: Diana at the Bath stamps from Monaco

Nudes in Art: Diana at the Bath stamps from Monaco

The visual chosen to illustrate the theme "nudes in art" on new Monaco stamps is Diana at the Bath, a work by the Italian painter Carlo Maratti (or Maratta) in 1684.

The painting was engraved in the 18th Century, when it belonged to the Princes of Monaco collection.
