Stamp issued in honor of establishment of the High Commission for Amazigh
The Safir Hotel hosted on May 27, 2014 ceremony of the stamp issued on the occasion of the 19th anniversary of the establishment of the High Commission for Amazigh.
A large copy of the stamp and canceled stamp were offered to His Excellency the President of the Republic Abdelaziz Bouteflika and the two representatives of the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Culture.
In addition, guests have enjoyed the recitations performed by a troupe Mozabites just offer listeners a real journey into the Amazigh culture.
During his speech the Secretary General (HCA) strongly applauds the initiative taken by the HCA and Algeria Post stating that this action is a motivating factor to increase efforts to promote the Amazigh language and culture.
For his part, Mr. Mohand Mahloul Laid during his speaking, has focused on the active role of Algeria Position in the promotion and preservation of cultural and historical heritage of the country and, through the commemoration of different events by perpetual philatelic works.
On the sidelines of the ceremony the CEO position Algeria reiterated during a press pronounced " Algeria post vehicle history and mark the major events of a nation, and can not under any circumstances miss such opportunities to mark its presence and be a positive vector that reflects the popular will of the nation to citizens; to conclude, the position has an important place in society, it conveys its values and the foundations of the Algerian society.
In the same context, Algeria post proceeds with the issuance of two stamps commemorating the 17th Ministerial Conference of the Non-Aligned Movement.
At the end of the ceremony, a philatelic exhibition featuring a rich collection of stamps on various themes was offered to guests.
Encyclopedias including stamps issued since independence have also been exposed on this occasion.
