Stamps celebrate natural and man-made wonders

The US Postal Service issue a pane of forty new stamps on 27 May featuring a selection of natural and man-made American wonders.

Artist Lonnie Busch, who produced the Greetings For America stamps in 2002, has illustrated a range of places, structures, wildlife and plants from regions across the United States. Each stamp features a bold description on the front to state the nature of the wonder, for example "Largest Reptile" or "Tallest Cactus", along with the name of the wonder and its location. Meanwhile the back of each stamp provides further information, facts and statistics.
