Swiss Post special stamps set pictures in motion
The Museum of Communication in Berne is celebrating its 100th birthday this year. Swiss Post is commemorating this event by issuing two special stamps. For the first time, these make use of lenticular printing technology. Depending on the angle, the viewer sees different images which appear to move. The Museum for Communication owns the largest collection of Swiss stamps in the world.
Ireland's first ever Moving Stamps mark 2006 Ryder Cup
The country's first ever lenticular stamp will be issued by An Post today to celebrate The 2006 Ryder Cup being held in Ireland. The limited edition Ryder Cup stamps feature lenticular images, which appear to move when the stamp is tilted. This innovative design feature has never before been seen on an Irish stamp, has never been used in a Ryder Cup stamp and is rarely seen at all internationally!
