The Royal Charter of Liverpool

The Royal Charter of Liverpool

In 2007 the City of Liverpool celebrates the 800th Anniversary of their Royal Charter.

A great many Manx people have helped to make Liverpool what it is today just as Liverpudlians have done for the Isle of Man.

The issue date of 20th April for the stamps and sheets was chosen to presage the re-opening of the St George's Hall following extensive renovation.

The 800th Anniversary of the Royal Charter of Liverpool is printed in sheets of 25 which feature full-colour decorative margins.
