New Stamps of 2024 from the US: Design and Background

Recently, the USPS formally revealed the designs and release dates for the new stamps for 2024. These eagerly awaited stamps will go on sale from January to March next year. Let's take a closer look at some of them.

The Dungeons and Dragons game will celebrate its Semicentennial. Due to this, the USPS plans to commemorate this iconic game by releasing 10 special edition stamps. Every one of them will display various creatures or characters from the game. Designer and creator: Greg Breeding.

Next, it's planned to issue a tribute to John Wooden, a renowned basketball coach famous for his successful career at the University of California who achieved exceptional success running the UCLA basketball team. This postal item will depict Wooden's portrait. Designer and artist: Alexis Franklin.

All space enthusiasts are going to find something to anticipate! The high-value stamps are going to be issued by the USPS. They are the $30.45 Cosmic Cliffs and the $9.85 Pillars of Creation. They will feature vivid pictures of distant cosmic worlds captured by a telescope.

Honoring "Black Heritage" series, its 47th stamp is coming. This time, it is dedicated to Constance Baker Motley. Being the first black woman to serve as a federal judge, she definitely found her place in history. The release date is planned for January 31, 2024. The stamp will be available for purchase at the post offices in New York City. This place was chosen because she died in this city in September 2005.
