Unique porcelain stamps specially released for PRAGA 2018!

Český porcelán a.s. in Dubi released a unique limited series of porcelain postage stamps that will be on sale at the international philatelic exhibition Praga 2018 that will take place in August this year. Porcelain postage stamps were produced in 500 pieces for the Specialized World Stamp Exhibition Praga 2018 and another 600 on the name for Czech Philatelic Union. The stamps have the size of a credit card and are already in great demand.

These bright porcelain philatelic items have all the characteristics of an average stamp like perforations, the number of the series and the name that are indicated at the bottom. The stamps are decorated with a seven-colour onion pattern named Natura which is a protected pattern of the manufacturer. The Czech Union of Philatelists plans to distribute 600 stamps to guests from 80 countries. Their names are displayed on the stamps in gold. The remaining 500 stamps will be sold at the opening of the exhibition. Currently the stamp costs 500 kroons, but many assume that its price will increase in time.

Praga 2018 is the largest European philatelic event in 2018, which takes place from the 15th to the 18th August at the Congress Hotel Clarion in Prague. The objective of the exhibition is to promote philately, to develop mutual relations and philatelic culture, to maintain cooperation among philatelists throughout the world.
