Israeli Achievements – two stamps issued by Israeli Post

Israeli Post introduced a set of two stamps dedicated to ground breaking technological products that were developed in Israel.  These achievements are collision avoidance system that reduces the risk of car accidents and saves lives; and robotic guidance of spine surgery that enables more precise surgery with minimal invasion and increased access. So let`s take a look at this bright set of stamps and other philatelic issues on the theme of technology

The first stamp of this issue features collision avoidance system. The right side of the stamp features parts of the system: the camera affixed behind the front windshield that watches the road at all times and the indication screen affixed above the car’s dashboard. The system scans the road, identifies various road characteristics and alerts the driver to danger in real time via audio and visual warnings, thus helping to prevent collisions. The second stamp features robotic guidance of spine surgery. The item shows various parts of this invention. The tab shows an image of a vertebra with two implants and various symbols from the system’s operation program, including arrows for precise direction of the implants, as well as four icons symbolizing the four stages of the work: planning, imaging, 3D synchronization, surgery.
