Next stamp issue from the series "Flora and Fauna of Armenia"

According to info got by FindYourStampsValue.com on the 23d of September 2 stamps dedicated to the themes "Flora and Fauna of Armenia. Dianthus gabrielianae. Upupa epops" have been put into circulation by Armenian Post.

Dianthus gabrielianae is a species of Dianthus, native to Europe, from Spain north to Belgium and Armenia, and east to Ukraine, occurring in dry, grassy habitats at altitudes of up to 2,500 m in mountains. It is a variable herbaceous perennial plant growing to 60 cm tall. The flowers are 18–20 mm wide, dark pink to purple, occasionally white; they are produced several together in tight flowerhead

The hoopoe (Upupa epops) is a colorful bird found across Afro-Eurasia, notable for its distinctive "crown" of feathers. It is the only extant species in the family Upupidae. At the result of the public voting, launched by the Armenian Society for the Protection of Birds, the bird hopop has been proclaimed "Bird of the Year 2014".
