To commemorate the Stamp Day the BPost (Belgium) is issuing a series of stamps illustrating the evolution of country's mailboxes.

The stamps feature:

Cast iron mailbox, round, on legs (from the second half of the nineteenth century)
Rural wooden mailbox (from the second half of the nineteenth century)
Mailbox on legs (from 1930)
Plastic mailbox of the "Napoleon" type (from 1970)
Modern mailbox (from 2001)
