“Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!”. A famous cartoon character will appear on a new USPS stamp

FindYourStampsValue.com is excited to announce that USPS has prepared for release a beautiful cute stamp dedicated to Scooby-Doo – the beloved animated Great Dane who slid onto the scene in 1969 as part of an enduring Warner Bros. television cartoon. The item is being issued in cooperation with Warner Bros. Consumer Products. The stamp designed by Art director Greg Breeding of Charlottesville will be issued in 12-stamp sheets.

The stamp features Scooby-Doo helping out by watering a blossoming plant in a flowerpot — a simple act symbolizing a component of the “Doo Good” campaign’s effort to provide young people with tools and activities geared toward enriching the environment. The campaign was launched this year and focuses on helping the hungry and acting as animal allies.

Scooby-Doo, Where Are You!  - a popular animated television series created by Hanna-Barbera – is about a gang of four mystery-solving teenagers, and their talking Great Dane, Scooby-Doo. In each episode, the Scooby Doo Gang runs into some sort of paranormal activity, and it's up to them to solve the case. In nearly every episode, however, it just turns out to be a man in a mask, though the gang never seems to catch onto this.

If you are interested in cartoons and stamps dedicated to them we invite you to take a look at other bright items on this theme.
